The terms and conditions apply to users of Opulent Soft Furnishings' website. By using this site, you accept and agree to these terms. We suggest you carefully read the terms and conditions that are detailed below as this forms the basis of the sale agreement between you and Opulent Soft Furnishings when you purchases goods from our website. If you proceed with your purchase you are acknowledging that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

Opulent Soft Furnishings will endeavour to consult with the customer should adjustments/modifications occur. Opulent Soft Furnishings reserves the right to change, alter or modify the design, dimensions, construction or costing of any item of furniture without prior written notice. ORDER CONFIRMATIONAn order confirmation will be forwarded in acknowledgement of receipt of your order. This document supersedes all prior correspondence in relation to your order (verbal, written, graphic or otherwise). We will proceed with your order, as per order confirmation and 50% deposit, unless we receive written notification of any requested changes within 24 hours. ORDER AMENDMENTS OR CHANGES Once your order has been confirmed, any request for subsequent changes must be sent by email. No guarantee can be given that the requested change can be made. Any variation or cancellation, agreed to by Opulent Soft Furnishings will incur additional costs. UPHOLSTERY – FABRIC AND OTHER SUPPLIES Opulent Soft Furnishings prefer to order all fabrics and other supplies on behalf of their customers. When customers’ own material is to be supplied please ensure all rolls are clearly labelled with your details, our order number and project/client name. Opulent Soft Furnishings reserves the right to reject fabrics and leathers deemed unsuitable for upholstery on our designs. LEAD TIMES Please contact our sales office on (07) 3172 4654 or by email to brett@opulentsf.com.au for current lead time estimates. Failure to provide all relevant information may delay lead times. Whilst we will make every effort to achieve nominated delivery dates, delays do not constitute a breach of contract and Opulent Soft Furnishings is in no way liable for any resulting damages.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE AND SALE
PAYMENT
Our standard payment terms are 60% deposit and 40% at completion. The deposit is non-refundable and goods are released once final payment is cleared. Goods will be delivered within five (5) days of final payment being made. Goods remain the property of Opulent Soft Furnishings until full payment has been received.Please note, a storage fee of $100 per day may apply where goods remain in the property of Opulent Soft Furnishings.FREIGHT CHARGESFreight Charges for South East QLD: $25 for orders under $1000.All areas other than South East QLD: $25 per package or tube. Free Freight for all orders over $1000 unless Freight is over 3 meters. (not including GST). Any freight over 3 meters will incur an additional $25 per package or tube.Items over our normal weight, size and dimension incur additional charges and will be discussed at time of purchase order.DELIVERYDelivery times will be arranged with you once goods are ready for despatch. The freight charge covers a single delivery at ground level during normal weekday delivery hours. Prior to delivery, please provide us with full written details of any difficulty to accessibility e.g. stairs, delivery dock, lift, change of address etc. We reserve the right to charge additional costs for unusual access not advised in writing. We offer an inspection service, with additional fee, prior to order commencement for potentially difficult deliveries. If you are unable to accept delivery within seven (7) days from our first call following the completion of your order, the invoice must be paid in full. In addition, a storage fee of 1% of the value of goods per month or $100 per week (whichever is higher) is payable. INSPECTIONInspection of products is required at delivery. Any damage must be noted on the delivery docket presented to you by carrier for signature. Notification is required within 24 hours to our sales office on (07) 3172 4654 or email brett@opulentsf.com.au to notify of any damages or issues. We will not be responsible for any damage unless we are notified within time period specified above.The customer shall inspect Opulent Soft Furnishings service(s) on completion and within seven (7) days of such time (being the essence) notify Opulent Soft Furnishings in writing of any alleged defect, error or omission, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote.Further, Opulent Soft Furnishings will inspect the service(s) provided and will advise the customer of the approach to remedy the defect.Lastly, if the customer does not notify Opulent Soft Furnishings of any defects relating to the service(s) provided, then final acceptance by the customer will be deemed to have occurred and Opulent Soft Furnishings shall be presumed to be free from any defect or damage.Please also see our Opulent Soft Furnishings’ Complaints Procedure.RETURNS
Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website.
